Airshare Advances Commitment to Providing the Highest-Quality Flying Experience With New Compensation Package to Attract the Most Talented Pilots

LENEXA, Kan., Nov. 15, 2021 — Airshare, one of the largest private aircraft operators in the United States, today enhanced its commitment to providing the highest quality flying experiences for fractional aircraft owners and EMBARK jet cardholders through a new compensation package for Captains (pilots-in-command).

Airshare is increasing base pay for all its pilots and offering first-year PICs the opportunity to earn up to $150,000, while providing all pilots flying in its fractional ownership programs with the ability to receive quarterly bonuses when flying more than 125 hours per financial quarter.

Signing bonuses are being offered for Phenom type-rated pilots.

In keeping with the company’s goal to provide the best quality of life for their pilots, they are also now offering greater flexibility for where they can home base. Airshare pilots may now live in additional Airshare markets including Chicago, Denver, St. Louis, Wichita, Tulsa, Oklahoma City, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, as well as Dallas, Fort Worth, Buffalo and Kansas City.

Airshare is offering a no-cost health insurance option for individual pilots through a health savings account (HSA).

Airshare pilots typically fly an eight-days-on/six-days-off schedule, which enables pilots to spend up to an average of 20 nights at home each month.

“For 20 years, our pilots have played a key role in helping us deliver the best-in-class fractional ownership experience that has become synonymous with Airshare. The first-name-basis relationships between our customers and pilots has been integral to our growth as well as customer retention,” said Airshare CEO John Owen. “These changes to their compensation structure represent our continued dedication to attracting and retaining the best pilots in the industry.”
