We’re proud to announce we’ve completed the acquisition of Wheels Up’s aircraft management division. The deal brings approximately 90 aircraft to our Aircraft Management division. Through this acquisition, we will more than triple the number of aircraft we manage, which significantly increases the number of aircraft available for charter within our managed fleet.

KC Ihlfeld will be leading the Airshare Aircraft Management division as SVP, Aircraft Management. KC was formally SVP, Aircraft Management for Wheels Up. In addition, we will have 316 employees joining us, including pilots, account management, owner services, flight control, maintenance, training and administration. We are eager to add this exceptional talent to our existing team, which we consider the best in private aviation.

This acquisition will double the size of our company and strengthen our ability to serve our aircraft management, fractional, jet card, and charter customers. We are extremely excited about the impact this acquisition will have on the future of Airshare.
